Acetaminophen

Pain Reliever & Fever Reducer

A widely used, FDA-recognized OTC analgesic and antipyretic. Indicated for the temporary relief of minor aches and pains, including those due to headache, toothache, and the common cold, and for the reduction of fever. Does not contain aspirin. Always refer to the Drug Facts panel for the per-caplet dose and complete directions.

How to take it.

Always read the Drug Facts panel on the carton before use. The dose, frequency, and maximum daily amount are determined by the per-caplet acetaminophen strength printed on the box.

Adults & children 12 years and over

Follow the dosing schedule on the Drug Facts panel. Do not exceed the maximum daily amount printed on the carton. Adultos y niños mayores de 12 años: siga las indicaciones del envase. No exceda la dosis diaria máxima.

Children under 12 years

Ask a doctor before use. Niños menores de 12 años: consulte a un médico.

Do not exceed recommended dose

Taking more than the recommended dose may cause serious liver damage. Do not take with other drugs containing acetaminophen. No exceda la dosis recomendada. No tome con otros medicamentos que contengan acetaminofén.

Storage

Store at controlled room temperature 20°–25°C (68°–77°F). For the sachet presentation, keep individual sachets sealed until use. Tamper evident: do not use if the safety seal is broken or missing. Guarde a temperatura ambiente. Mantenga los sobres cerrados hasta su uso.

Warnings.

Liver Warning

This product contains acetaminophen. Severe liver damage may occur if you take:
More than the maximum daily amount printed on the Drug Facts panel.
With other drugs containing acetaminophen.
3 or more alcoholic drinks every day while using this product.

Allergy Alert

Acetaminophen may cause severe skin reactions. Symptoms may include skin reddening, blisters, or rash. If a skin reaction occurs, stop use and seek medical help right away.

Do Not Use

With another drug containing acetaminophen (prescription or non-prescription). Ask a doctor or pharmacist before using with other drugs if you are not sure.

Ask a Doctor Before Use If

You have liver disease.
You are taking the blood-thinning drug warfarin.

Stop Use and Ask a Doctor If

Any new symptoms appear.
Symptoms do not get better or worsen.
Painful area is red or swollen.
Pain gets worse or lasts for more than 10 days.
Fever gets worse or lasts for more than 3 days.

If Pregnant or Breast-feeding

Ask a health professional before use.

In case of overdose: Get medical help or contact a Poison Control Center
